These prosciutto wrapped goat cheese stuffed jalapeños are a quick and easy party appetizer that will be the perfect compliment to your party spread.
Super Bowl Sunday is a few days away! Are you excited for the game? Or just here for all the snacks…. I’m here for these stuffed jalapeños!
Let’s start with the main ingredient, jalapeños! So take my advice, please wear gloves or wash your hands like 5 times after handling these. I can’t tell you how many times I have touched my eye or nose after chopping jalapeños, it is NOT fun. So exercise care.
I used the honey goat cheese from Trader Joe’s to stuff the jalapeños. If you haven’t had it before, it has a subtle honey flavor that compliments the goat cheese so well. If you just have regular goat cheese that will work as well, you can always drizzle a bit of honey and mix it into the goat cheese too.
Once they are stuffed, take the prosciutto and cut it down the middle lengthwise, then I folded it. Wrap it around the jalapeño and secure it with a toothpick (which I failed to do) or else the prosciutto will roll up while it cooks.
Place them on a baking pan and into the oven they go! You’ll be left with these delicious stuffed jalapeños, a sweet/salty snack with a spicy bite to it.
Things you’ll need: baking sheet with rack, toothpicks
